Nomination form for visiting mares

1. All hind shoes must be removed prior to or on arrival at the stud.

2. All visiting mares to be wormed prior to arrival and regularly thereafter.

3. All mares to be swabbed either at home or on arrival at stud.

4. All pasports or identity documents must accompany the horse at stud.

5. Free returns must be taken the next season.

6. The stud reserves the right to refuse any mare thought unfit for service.

7. Restraints such as a twitch will be used at the discretion of the stud.

8. Livery charges are in respect of feed and accommmodation.  Blacksmith, Vet., etc., are not included and are at the studs discretion.

9. In the event of a mar requiring veterinary assistance, this will be summoned at the studs discretion, although every effort will be made to contact the owner.

10. It is in the interest of the owner to vaccinate their mare against flu and tetanus and to have them insured.

11. Stud accounts must be settled BEFORE the mare leaves the stud.

12. Whilst we will take every care and attention, no responsibility whatsoever can be accepted for accident or disease and mares can only be taken on this understanding.

13. Any mares or foal, which the stud feels need supplementary feeding will be fed and the owners charged accordingly.

14. Covering certificates will be issued when all stud and veterinary accounts are cleared.

I hereby state that the particulars given are correct to the best of my knowledge and I have read and agree with the above conditions.
